The Second  Cycle “Digital Parish Mission” Course Begins

The second cycle of the “Digital Parish Mission” course successfully commenced on Wednesday, 29 April 2026, on the premises of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci.

The new participants gathered with the desire to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the development of digital parish mission, as well as to contribute, through collaborative work, to the life of their parish communities. Already at the first meeting, a keen interest was demonstrated in topics related to contemporary modes of communication, the use of social media, and the role of the Church in the digital sphere.

The aim of the course is to acquaint participants with ways of using digital tools in a responsible and mission-appropriate manner, so that the faith may also be witnessed through contemporary media. Particular emphasis is placed on practical work, the exchange of experiences, and the development of concrete projects that will be of benefit to parishes.

Classes will be held once a week over the course of four weeks, during which participants will develop their own ideas, to be presented at the end of the course as final missionary projects.

We look forward to this new cycle and to all that will emerge from it, trusting that this group, too, will bring renewed strength, knowledge, and dedication to the development of the Church’s digital mission.

At the same time, we invite all those interested in joining to apply in a timely manner for one of the forthcoming cycles of the course and thus become part of a community that actively contributes to the mission of the Church in the digital space. Applications, including personal details and contact details of the parish priest who has given his blessing, should be sent to the following email address: misionarsko.odeljenje@gmail.com.
