A programme titled “Jehovah’s Witnesses and Bible Forgery” was livestreamed on September 5, 2024, following the collaboration of the Section for Public Sphere Dialogue of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade and Karlovci and the Orthodox internet portal “Žive reči” (“Life-giving words”). The host was Protopresbyter Ivan Cvetković, who also runs the Orthodox portal “Žive reči”. The guest speaker was Deacon Dr. Aleksandar Milojkov, Coordinator of the Section for Public Sphere Dialogue of the Missionary Department.
In the programme, Deacon Aleksandar discussed the specific instances of forgery of the original biblical text, found in the “New World” translation, published by “Jehovah’s Witnesses”. Detailed analyses of the biblical text were based on Deacon Aleksandar’s series of articles titled “Jehovah’s Witnesses and Bible Forgery”, which appear in the blog section of the Archdiocese Missionary Department ‘s website.
