Following the successful completion of previous course cycles, the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci, through its Electronic Mission Section, is continuing its work by launching a new cycle of the free course “Digital Parish Mission”.
The course is scheduled to begin in September 2026 and will be held on the premises of the Missionary Department, at 63b Cara Dušana Street, Belgrade, on the ground floor of the Parish Hall of the Church of St Alexander Nevsky.
The aim of the course is to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills for developing digital parish mission, enabling contemporary communication channels to be placed at the service of the Church and individual parish communities.
Through lectures, practical assignments, and the development of their own missionary projects, participants will learn how to use websites, social media, photography, video, and contemporary digital tools in a responsible and appropriate manner consistent with the ethos and mission of the Church.
Particular emphasis will be placed on making the digital sphere a space for the living witness of faith, dialogue, information, and community-building. Throughout the course, participants will develop their own ideas and projects that may assist their parishes in their missionary work and communication with the faithful.
We invite all interested faithful who wish to contribute their knowledge and talents to the mission of the Church in the digital world to apply for participation in the new course cycle.
