The Section for dialogue in the public sphere is directed towards missionary work with the academic segmets of society, primarily with university professors, scientists and cultural workers. This section gathers intellectuals of various profiles as its associates and starts panel discussions where, together with priests and RE teachers, different scientific, cultural, technological and social topics are being explored, with a particular accent on the perspective of Orthodox theology, anthropology and ethics.

The role of this section also includes opening up a public dialogue with the aim of overcoming the stereotypes concerning the Church and Christianity, which still persist in certain segments of our academic life. A special feature of this section concerns the selection and mobilisation of the talented and educated RE teachers for the missionary dialogue in the public sphere.
