The Missionary Department of AEM officially launched the English version of its website at mission.rs on June 3, 2024, on the feast day of Saints Constantine and his mother Helena. It has been launched in order to expand further the mission work of the Archbichopric of Belgrade and Karlovci in terms of its external mission, concerning the foreign nationals who live and work in Belgrade.
In addition to the general information about the Department, the English version of the website also includes the news about the activities of the Missionary Department of AEM, as well as a blog section, featuring the articles written by the Department’s coordinators. In the following period, translations of the multimedia missionary content from the Department’s You Tube channel will gradually be introduced.
Apart from the main website, the accompanying English-language pages have been launched on social media networks, such as Facebook (missionary.department), Instagram (@missionary.department), and Twitter (@md_aem), in order to achieve broader electronic missionary coverage.
The English version of the website gives an opportunity for all foreign nationals, currently residing in Belgrade, who are interested in Orthodox Christianity, to contact members of the Department and receive prompt answers to their queries in English, via email.
