Catechesis constitutes an integral part of the life of the Church. In addition to religious education and instruction delivered from the ambo during the liturgical assembly, it is also expressed through organized lectures and spiritual forums that address biblical, liturgical, dogmatic, and other instructive topics. Following the conviction that spreading and proclaiming the Word of God is the essential mission of the “Kinonia” portal, a new series entitled From the Lectern has been launched.
Within the framework of the From the Lectern series, we present video and audio recordings of lectures and spiritual forums, featuring discussions by hierarchs, presbyters, deacons, catechists, and theologians of our homeland. The “Kinonia” portal realizes this series in cooperation with the editorial teams of the information departments of the dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as in collaboration with “Hram” Television and diocesan radio stations.
