By appointment of His Holiness, the Serbian Patriarch Mr. Porfirije, the Missionary Department of the Archbishopric of Belgrade–Karlovci now has a new Coordinator of the Section for Parish Mission – Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Radivoje Panić.
Father Radivoje serves as a parish priest at the Temple of Saint Sava and is among the most respected clergy in Belgrade. He succeeds Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Vajo Jović in this responsible position, due to latter’s frequent absence from the Archbishopric and other extenuating circumstances, preventing him from continuing with his duties, of which he has been relieved at personal request.
The Missionary Department of the Archbishopric of Belgrade–Karlovci expresses its gratitude to Father Vajo Jović for his dedicated service and missionary efforts to date, and looks forward to welcoming him in the future as a valued collaborator and esteemed guest. We also joyfully welcome his worthy successor to the position of Coordinator of the Section for Parish Mission, Father Radivoje Panić, whose appointment significantly strengthens the missionary capacity of our Department.
