On Friday, November 1st, in the ceremonial hall of the Stari Grad municipality, a series of lectures began on the subjects of “Faith”, “Love,” and “Hope.” The goal of these lectures was to inspire people to reflect on the highest human values and to raise funds for building a warm home for the six-member Delić family from Obrenovac. The first lecture was delivered by Presbyter Oliver Subotić, who dedicated his presentation to the theme of “Faith.”
Father Oliver spoke about the importance of faith, emphasizing that faith in God and faith in people are the pillars that sustain our lives, especially during challenging times. His address was not only theological, but also deeply personal – faith, he argued, must be lived, not merely learned, as it serves as a source of strength and comfort in all life situations.
