In the crypt of the Church of St. Mark the Apostle in Belgrade, on December 11, 2025, an expert lecture was held on the topic “New Modalities of Sectarian Activity.”
The lecture was delivered by Zoran Luković, a religious expert and Coordinator of the Apologetics Section of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade–Karlovci. The event attracted a large audience, who followed the lecturer’s presentation with profound attention and interest.
During the lecture, the most recent trends and modes of operation employed by contemporary sects were presented, along with methods for recognizing these phenomena as socially perilous. The atmosphere was dynamic and interactive, a quality that became particularly evident in the concluding segment of the lecture.
The lecture concluded with a lively discussion, during which the speaker provided clear, precise, and substantive answers to numerous questions posed by the audience, thereby adding depth to the topic and enriching it with practical insights.
