In collaboration with the Section for Public Sphere Dialogue of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade and Karlovci, and the Orthodox online portal “Living Words,” a broadcast was streamed online on October 12, 2024, focusing on the topic “Gender Ideology and the Instrumentalisation of Science.”
The programme was hosted by Protopresbyter Ivan Cvetković, editor of the “Living Words” portal. The guest speaker was Deacon Dr. Aleksandar Milojkov, coordinator of the Section for Public Sphere Dialogue, who addressed this complex issue based on personal research and expertise, a topic which has also been addressed within the said Missionary Department’s Section. Drawing from relevant academic articles and dialogues with competent scientific and medical professionals, Deacon Milojkov offered an in-depth exploration of the development of the term “gender,” the emergence of gender ideology, and the tangible evidence pointing to its influence on medicine and scientific discourse.
