With the blessing of His Holiness, Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade–Karlovci, in cooperation with the “Slovo” Bookstore, is launching a new missionary project entitled The Word in “Slovo”. This project is conceived as a regular and systematic initiative dedicated to the interpretation of various passages from the New Testament and will take place on the premises of the “Slovo” Bookstore (4 Đure Jakšića Street).
Beginning in September 2026, every Monday at 7:00 p.m. (except on major Church feast days, when the bookstore is closed), selected clergy of the Archdiocese of Belgrade–Karlovci will offer interpretations of various New Testament passages and subsequently engage in discussion with those present on the given topic. Each session, including the interpretation and the accompanying dialogue, is planned to last a total of one hour.
The entire initiative will be coordinated within the Parish Mission Section of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade–Karlovci, while each individual lecture will be announced in advance on the website of the Missionary Department.
