On Saturday, 26 July 2025, a lecture entitled “Confronting the Challenge of Artificial Intelligence: An Orthodox Perspective” was held in the courtyard of the Church of St Nicholas in Kotor. This lecture on an exceptionally timely and important topic was organised by the Serbian Orthodox Church Parish of Kotor.
The lecture was delivered by the Reverend Dr Oliver Subotić, Head of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade and Karlovci. In a manner that was both accessible and deeply reflective, he addressed the challenges and opportunities that the contemporary development of artificial intelligence poses to the human being, to society, and to the Church.
