The Section for Dialogue in the Public Sphere of the AEM Missionary Department, in cooperation with the organization Philosophical Gardens, organized a panel discussion on the topic: “Facing the Challenge of Screenocracy.”
The speakers at the event included:
- Presbyter Dr. Oliver Subotić, Head of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci
- Vladimir Bolta, Sociology student and editor of the Opseg portal
- Dr. Vlajko Panović, Specialist in Medical Psychology
- Nenad Gugl, Literature professor and author
- Valerijan Matvejev, PhD candidate at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, junior computer science researcher at the BioSens Institute, and board member of Philosophical Gardens
- Presbyter Dr. Aleksandar Milojkov, Coordinator of the Section for Dialogue in the Public Sphere of the AEM Missionary Department – Moderator of the panel discussion
The panel gathered different experts from Orthodox theology, informatics, psychology, sociology, and literature. The event was opened with an introductory speech by Valerijan Matvejev, PhD candidate at the Faculty of Electrical engineering in Belgrade.
